| Barb’s unique education and life experiences are the foundation for COPE’s diversity. In her personal life, she has survived multiple health issues - Diabetes, 5 Bypass Heart Surgery, Spinal Stenosous… She says she is too busy living and learning to die. Among her numerous honors: “Public Service Award” from Merwin Rural Services Institute, Featured in McCall’s Magazine for "Women Who Make A Difference" and the President’s “National Leadership Award” – in recognition of outstanding service and commitment to American ideals and in particular, for assistance in promoting a pro-business agenda for sole proprietorship and women owned businesses. In 1999, Patricia Kelley joined COPE’s team. Today, she is an Educator, Management Consultant and Administrator for COPE Consultants. She is also the owner and director of PK Solutions Event Planning. She has a diverse background, academically, personally and professionally. Mrs. Kelley has extensive experience in communication, crisis intervention, and adult education. She has a wide range of customer service experience and understands both sides of the desk, which makes her sensitive to workers and customer needs. Mrs. Kelley designs and presents workshops, as well as team-teaches with Dr. Barbara A. Walker.
